Audio Books: Top Narrators Become the new "Stars"

Ask any steady Audio listener what they like, and you'll quickly learn the Who's Who of favorite narrators.

This is one area where the original creater --- The Author --- can actually take second place in audience preference.

On rare occasions you'll hear the actual author telling the story, as with "Bleachers" narrated by John Grisham himself, or "On Writing" narrated by Stephen King.

Most Audio products are narrated by people who's career is based on their ability to tell you a great story that someone else wrote. Their backgrounds include acting in movies and on stage as well as "performing" by reading to you.

Listen to several different performers and you'll begin to recognize the ones you like best.

Among the award winners and almost everyone's favorites, be sure to look for George Guidall, Barbara Rosenblat, C.J. Critt, Simon Prebble, Richard Ferrone, and, of course, the all time king of narrators and winner of awards, Frank Muller.

These are the great names. But there are dozens of others, notible in performance, and we'd like to hear it from you when a special narrator's voice grabs your attention.
