I love the tips sent in by our members --- and use them all from time to time.
There's no better way to rotate the stash in the pantry than to create meals around what I find in there. Adding new ideas found in our favorite restaurant are always a hit with the family, and stocking up again when the local stores have a good sale helps the budget.
But my absolute favorite comes from the need to monitor my weight, and hense, get the most satisfaction from WHAT I eat instead of HOW MUCH. By making a chart of what my body needs every day to maintain good health, and then creating a list of what foods supply the needed nutrients, I have discovered a menu plan that not only guarantees I'll eat better, but also guarantees I won't be hungry.
For a classic over-eater, it's been a priceless gift to learn how to make my meals serve ME so that I could avoid the temptations that put me in the obese category to begin with. I like to eat. I like to eat a lot!
